About
I’m Justin, a senior frontend engineer based in Manhattan. For the last five years at JPMorgan Chase, I've built large-scale React applications that millions of users rely on. The edge cases are the job: every error state, every dismissible popover, every interaction instrumented. Along the way, I've led frontend development for major digital experiences and built greenfield platforms from scratch.
That way of working borrows from the city I live in. The best systems, like the subway, disappear into usefulness: good wayfinding, honest typography, a strict grid, and color that means something. I care about the details a user never consciously notices, the ones that make an interface feel effortless. I’m happiest at the intersection of engineering rigor and design craft, translating between the two so a team can move fast without breaking the experience.
